Alan Gray is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Junior Forensic Accountant to enrich our team. This position is tailor-made for an individual keen on diving deep into the intricacies of financial investigations and who possesses a natural aptitude for data analysis.
The ideal candidate will be a rising professional eager to hone their forensic accounting skills and contribute to resolving financial fraud, discrepancies, and other financial analyses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting financial investigations and forensic analyses to unearth and address discrepancies, fraud, and other financial misconduct.
- Support senior forensic accountants in performing calculations and analyses for business income loss and other financial impacts.
- Help prepare reports and document findings in a clear and concise manner for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in collaborative efforts with legal teams, contributing to legal proceedings as needed.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on the latest trends, regulations, and methods in forensic accounting and financial analysis.
- Work towards developing professional relationships within the insurance industry to bolster service delivery and contribute to the firm's growth.
- Adhere to all relevant legal, regulatory, and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Demonstrated interest in forensic accounting, with coursework or relevant experience being a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively presenting information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel.
- A keen interest in developing a network within the insurance industry is advantageous.
Preferred:
- CPA eligibility or progress towards obtaining a CPA license.
